NBA G League:
Visual Identity
The NBA tasked us with making the G League cool — greatest KPI ever. We started by building a brand playbook which included a visual identity and photography treatment to use for all their content across all platforms.
We designed a system that was flexible enough to be applied in hundreds of different ways and included templates that could be used by someone with zero design experience to create content for games in real time. Designed to elevate their presence and establish the League as change makers in the world of basketball, this identity made players center stage, highlighting just what it takes to make it to the NBA.
This was my first major project and one of my proudest as the only woman on the team and the only one that still doesn’t know what a jump shot is.
This year, the League felt it was important to use their voice and social channels to amplify awareness around the 2020 Presidential Election. For this ask, we created a range of assets to post across all platforms that would educate our audience on how the election works, learn about the candidates, volunteer on Election Day, and most importantly use their voice and vote.
