The NBA tasked us with making the G League cool. We started by building a brand playbook which included a visual identity and photography treatment to use for all their content across all platforms. We designed a system that was flexible enough to be applied in hundreds of different ways and included templates that could be used by someone with zero design experience to create content for games in real time. Designed to elevate their presence and establish the League as changemakers in the world of basketball, this identity made players center stage, highlighting just what it takes to make it to the NBA.
This was my first account and one of my proudest as the only woman on the team and the only one who still doesn’t know what a jump shot is.
